YMCA Camp Pendalouan, located in Montague, Michigan, seeks energetic and fun-loving individuals to be part of the Outdoor Education staff.
Responsibilities: You will be responsible to teach a variety of classes/activities to children of all ages, primarily fourth through sixth grade students. Activities focus on local history, environmental awareness, group cooperation and recreation. Evening activities include square dances, campfires, and night hikes. Qualifications: BA or BS in Education, Recreation or related field. Looking for someone with a great sense of humor, a genuine love for children, and a strong desire to work outdoors (in any type of weather). Must enjoy working in a fun, laid-back environment. Have or be willing to get CPR and First Aid certification. Life guarding a big plus! And must be willing to get trained to facilitate our High and Low Ropes Courses.
Salary & Benefits: $250-$270 per week, room and board, health benefits available after 30 days of employment.
