Shelby – Counselor
Howdy Pendy Campers! My name is Shelby and this is my second year being a counselor at Pendalouan. I am from Grand Rapids and enjoy spending my free time exploring all that Michigan has to offer! I am looking forward to foil dinners on Tuesday nights and singing endless songs around the campfire. Dogs and coffee are two of my favorite things, besides camp of course. I cannot wait to spend another summer on Big Blue!
Rachel – Counselor
Hello everyone! My name is Rachel, and this will be my second year as a camp counselor at Camp Pendalouan. I’m looking forward to seeing all the new and familiar faces this Summer! Currently I am studying photography in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I love to hike, take photos, and travel around the world. My most recent travel destinations have been Northern California, the Bahamas, and Paris and London this Spring! I can’t wait to come home to Camp and lead fun activities and hang out by Big Blue Lake all Summer long.
Sophia – Counselor
Howdy Pendy People! My name is Sophia and this will be my tenth year at Pendalouan and my first on staff! I am super pumped to be back on the shores of Big Blue this summer and can’t wait to swim, hike, and make some amazing foil dinners with y’all! In the fall, I will be attending Alma College to study Neuroscience and will hopefully get to come back to Pendy for weekend groups. In my free time, I love to do art, sing in the car, hike, cook, and explore. I am super excited to sing at the top of my lungs with all of you! Hail Pendalouan!
Ellie – Counselor
Hey guys! My name is Ellie and this will be my 11th year at camp. I did Day Camp last year but this will be my first year being an overnight counselor and I’m very excited to see you all! I was a camper for 9 years and I’m looking forward to being on the other end of things! At home I play tennis and the violin, and I LOVE dogs. I have a twin sister named Emma who will also be spending the summer on Big Blue. You’ll probably catch me this summer with a huge sunburn so lookout, I’m pretty sure I’m 37% tomato. Can’t wait to see you soon!
